Form combinations were drawn in a freestyle drawing style as line drawings in ink on paper. They were kept in a running list in sketchbooks. They were usually drawn on individual pieces of paper in ink. Freestyle drawing is spontaneous and involves place. They were sometimes drawn at shows and events, and the best ones went in paintings.
